Wash Bay
Our pressure wash bay was built for the environment. It is a closed loop system
with a Water Recycling System. Closed Loop means we don't add water to our
system while we are using the bay.
Water runoff is collected in a drain trap and processed through the system you
see on the left. Reagents are added to the water to kill bacteria and odors,
neutralize the pH, and remove pollutants such as oil, grease, dirt, and sludge.
These reagents, which are commonly used in drinking water treatment, actually
make the water much more ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY and less hazardous for
personnel doing the washing. The reagents combine with contaminants to form
"floc particles". The clean water is seperated from the contaminate particles.
These floc particles are then captured in filter socks for proper disposal, then
the water if further filtered to clean and "polish" the water and is stored
until needed for more washing.
